It's Been A While

I got Kim set up to post here and it seems like she has about as much initiative to update this thing as I do, so sorry for the rare updates. Evan is six months old now, sitting up on his own, rambling on in long soliloquies in his own language about what I must assume are lectures on what he thinks are the major factors in China's current rise in economic and political power, and how the housing "crisis" could be fixed in a week.

Too bad no one can understand him.

Kim, being Kim, threw Evan a Half Birthday Party last week. She sent half cupcakes to day care with him and even baked half of a cake (I'll post pictures when I get back home and have access to that.) We even bought pizzas that were half one topping and half another. Of course Evan slept through the party (which was really just my parents and Kim and me). It was still a really clever idea, and I support displays of creativity in front of my child.

Evan has been sporting a cold that he can't quite seem to kick. It seems like he starts to get better to wake up one morning with a face covered in mucus and that hacking cough again. He doesn't seem to mind, but it's annoying to us. That's really all for right now. If we take some Thanksgiving photos of him, I'll try to get those posted. He's really changed since our last update.
